Boca Raton's Summer Camp

We know that our loyal families have been used to the East Boca Raton downtown area and the needs of our families have been at the forefront of our focus for acquiring a new home for our summer camp programming. The new space at UUFBR provides both indoor and outdoor amenities that help to support an amazing summer camp day for our students, the use of the sanctuary room as the main stage, and what will be transformed into a perfect performance space ('Boca Universal Stage'), with an elevated stage, audio and visual equipment needed for us to put on our musical theatre productions, plus break out rooms for individual rehearsals, super easy, plentiful and free parent parking, a quiet, convenient, and most importantly a safe location for us to focus on our instructional enrichment programs over the summer. We have operated within many church/worship spaces in our Denver, Colorado location for many years, including in 4 different churches, including our current Denver venue that we are looking forward to our 4th year in, which is a converted 130 year old church, and so we find that they are really an ideal space for us to host theatrical programming in, because they have all of the features that we need for both daily rehearsals and shows that are open to the public. As always, we are a completely secular, non-religious organization and operating within a place of worship does not alter our foundational identity in any way. We appreciate and respect having a space in which to inhabit and practice our theatre arts based educational programs. We have had many discussions with the Board & Members of UUFBR and we find that our goals to enrich the cultural lives of families in the Boca Raton and South Florida community are very aligned. UUFBR has played host to a myriad of different community organizations, including preschools, youth creative arts extracurricular activities, a Jewish congregation, a Tai Chi club, an acupuncture clinic, a French school, and so, many more programs that have been and are valuable assets to our area. We can’t wait to begin our summer season in just a few months. We will host an OPEN HOUSE event in the spring to share our vision with our RMCT families of how welcoming this host venue is, and how free to be creative the space is for exactly the performing arts programs that we have planned for our students WE CAN'T WAIT!

*Rocky Mountain Conservatory Theatre is an exclusively theatrical-based youth arts organization. We are pleased to offer our programming at the secured space at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton; yet we are not structurally affiliated with UUFBR or with any religious organization.
